Retreat Report: Attending Camp Stitchalot – Spring 2013
Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending Camp Stitchalot at a sweet B&B near Ann Arbor.
Most of the activity takes place in the converted barn.
The ground floor of the barn has space for so many sewists!
That’s Stephanie of Stitch and Simmer, just one of many talented campers I got to share my weekend with.
There’s free sewing time and some classes taught by awesome peeps. We made frame purses under Katy Jones’s tuteledge (she blogs at I’m A Ginger Monkey).
We also made skirts with Melody Miller and Rashida Coleman-Hale as well as Lickety Split bags with Rae (Made by Rae). (Pictured above are Rashida, Melinda, and Jennifer).

It is! You should come down! (You are in Canada, right? I didn't make that up?)

Don't cry Charlotte. It'll be okay. Just pet your Denyse Schmidt stash and imagine a better day.
What Charlotte said! I so wish I could get there – it's like all my quilty heroes in one place!
I know! I wish it could be free and we all had teleporters!
