I'm a great believer in continuing to take quilt classes forever, as you never know…
Happy Houses Quilt – new pattern
My improv pattern for the houses quilt is now available! As you may recall from my earlier post, this quilt was made in collaboration with Birch Fabrics for their Spring 2015 Quilt Market Booth.
It looked pretty amazing in the booth, if I do say so myself!
It also looked good in my parents’ backyard!
I quilted this on the Baby Lock Jane. I just LOVE that long throat for making this job easier!
After stitching in the ditch around each block and the outlines of the houses, I filled in the space between houses with clouds and the insides of the houses with various textures.
This quilt was so fun to make and I hope you’ll try one yourself! Buy it here!

I’ve tried every link I can find on the Birch website to get this pattern but all bring up an error message. I think they’ve taken it down or moved it or something! Such a great quilt, I hope they fix the problem soon but I’m mentioning to you too because it’s your work and I figure you might carry more weight getting it reinstated than my random customer feedback email…
Yep I’m wanting the pattern too but no link will take me there
